EXHIBITION - Fake Holidays at Stadthaus Ulm
Fake Holidays will be exhibited from Dec 11 2010 till april 17 2011 at Stadthaus Ulm.
In "Fake Holidays", photographer Reiner Riedler examines such hybrid places and their visitors with the eye of an anthropologist. He finds ironic, funny, but also thought-provoking images from these shrill and colourful worlds of wonder, which are particularly striking when the staging fails. As an observer, Riedler searches for images that reveal the fractures and focuses on what the paying visitors to these dream worlds prefer to ignore.
