I was lucky enough to be chosen by Ulrich Seidl for his film trilogy Paradise: Faith, Love, Hope to be taken on a journey. An experience that has left a lasting impression on me. That was the first time I really felt film. Seidl let me be there on set, look over his shoulder and see how he turned ideas into images. That was very inspiring. Watching cameraman Ed Lachmann over the scenes was very special. I think I had already made up my mind to make a film myself.
