A few days before the 2014 Song Contest, I had the honour of photographing Conchita Wurst. It was a special photo shoot. On the one hand I was impressed by her personality, on the other hand I felt the aura of the winner surrounding her. I already realised at the time that she was going to win. We were on the floor of an empty office building that couldn't be more unphotogenic. There was a wire between us that created these images. So she went on to win the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with her orchestral ballad "Rise Like A Phoenix".
